It helps block direct sunlight and reduce heat buildup while you're parked — which mostly shows up where it matters: a less scorching steering wheel, dashboard and seats. It won't make the cabin cold, and it doesn't replace air conditioning.

The open shade rests against the glass and your sun visors fold down over the top edge to hold it. No suction cups, no adhesives.
