57″ × 33″ (145 × 84 cm) universal size — designed for most sedans, crossovers and many SUVs. Check the fit guidance before ordering.

QuickShade is an umbrella-style windshield sunshade built around one idea: the shade you'll actually use every day. It opens like an umbrella, rests against your windshield, and your sun visors hold it in place — seconds in, seconds out.

While your car is parked, it helps block direct sunlight and reduce heat buildup, so the steering wheel, dashboard and front seats aren't baking in direct sun. The UPF 50+ rated material blocks up to 99% of UV rays (per supplier documentation), helping protect interior surfaces from repeated sun exposure.

  • Open size: 57″ × 33″ (145 × 84 cm) — measure your windshield before ordering
  • Folded: about 14″ (35.5 cm), storage sleeve included
  • Frame: reinforced 10-rib umbrella structure, designed for daily use
  • Fit: designed for most sedans, passenger cars, crossovers and many SUVs
  • In the box: 1× QuickShade, 1× storage sleeve

Straightforward by design: no suction cups, no assembly, nothing to install. Windshield sizes vary — compare the dimensions above with your usable glass area for the best fit.

  • 10-rib reinforced frame

  • Folds to 14″
  • No suction cups

Every parked hour bakes your interior.

The fix only works if you use it.

Traditional shades fail because they're annoying — awkward to unfold, worse to put away. QuickShade opens and closes like an umbrella, so shading your windshield stops being a chore and starts being a habit.

How it works

Umbrella in, umbrella out.

The whole routine takes seconds each way. Here's the full sequence, start to finish.

  1. Slide it out

Take the folded shade from its sleeve — it's about 14 inches long, roughly the size of a compact umbrella.

  2. Position it low

Hold the closed shade near the dashboard, pointing toward the glass, before you open it.

  3. Open it gradually

Press the mechanism and let the ten ribs spread — controlled, not a pop.

  4. Rest it against the glass

Guide the wide edge up to the windshield with the notch around your mirror housing.

  5. Fold your visors down

Both sun visors come down over the top edge and hold it in place. No suction cups.

  6. Collapse before you drive

Back at the car, fold the visors up, collapse the shade like an umbrella, and pull it away.

  7. Tuck it away

Slide it into the sleeve and drop it in the glovebox, door pocket, or seat pocket.

Always collapse the shade before pulling it away from the windshield, and remove it before driving.

Will it fit?

Vehicle guidance

  • Sedans & passenger cars Designed for
  • Crossovers Designed for
  • SUVs Fits many — measure first
  • Trucks & vans Measure before ordering

Measure in 60 seconds

  1. Run a tape measure across the inside of your windshield at its widest usable point.
  2. Measure top to bottom from the headliner to the dashboard.
  3. Compare with 57″ × 33″ — close or larger means good coverage.

Mirror housings, dash cams, sensors and steep windshield angles can affect positioning — the deep mirror notch handles most setups.

Straight talk: windshields vary. On most sedans, passenger cars and crossovers you'll get generous coverage. On larger SUVs you may see small uncovered areas near the edges; on compact cars the shade may overlap slightly. If your measurements are close to ours, you're in good shape — and if it doesn't work out, contact us and we'll make it right.

Construction

Ten ribs. Built for the daily round-trip.

The frame borrows the architecture that lets an umbrella take real weather: ribs radiating from a central hub. Opened against your windshield, it spreads tension evenly and folds down without a fight.

  • Reinforced 10-rib frame

Ten supporting ribs around a central hub, sized to hold shape across the glass.

  • Finished edges

Stitched, reinforced edging built to handle daily open-close cycles.

  • Honest durability

Designed for regular daily use. We don't claim indestructible — nothing is.

Before and after comparison: harsh sun and glare through the windshield versus a shaded, darker cabin with QuickShade in place

Interior protection

Fewer brutal afternoons for your dashboard.

While you're parked, QuickShade helps block direct sunlight from reaching the surfaces you touch most. Less direct sun means less heat buildup — and less repeated UV exposure on the dashboard, steering wheel, seats, displays and trim.

  • UPF 50+ rated material

Blocks up to 99% of UV rays, per supplier documentation.

  • The touchpoints matter most

The biggest difference is where your hands and legs land — wheel, dash, and seats.

A sunshade reduces direct sun exposure while parked. It doesn't make a car cold or replace air conditioning — and we won't pretend otherwise.

Folded QuickShade with its storage sleeve inside an open glovebox

Compact storage

Fourteen inches, out of the way.

Collapse it, slide it into the included sleeve, and it's about 14 inches long. Glovebox, door pocket, seat-back pocket — wherever your car has room, it disappears until the next stop.

  • Storage sleeve included

Keeps the folded shade tidy and protected between stops.

  • No cabin clutter

Nothing rolling around the footwell or living on your back seat.

That's the complete package — nothing else required. The 2-Pack includes two complete sets: two shades, two sleeves.

Questions

Everything people ask before buying.

Still unsure? Ask us directly

Will it fit my vehicle?

The 57″ × 33″ (145 × 84 cm) universal size is designed for most sedans, passenger cars, crossovers and many SUVs — but windshields vary. Measure the usable inside area of your windshield and compare it with those dimensions before ordering. Close or slightly larger than the shade means good coverage.

How do I measure my windshield?

Run a tape measure across the inside of the glass at its widest usable point, then top to bottom from headliner to dashboard. It takes about a minute. Compare both numbers with 57″ wide × 33″ tall.

Does it make the car completely cool?

No — and anyone who tells you a sunshade does that is overselling. QuickShade helps block direct sunlight and reduce heat buildup, which mainly means a less scorching steering wheel, dashboard and front seats when you return. It doesn't replace air conditioning.

How does it stay in place?

The open shade rests against the glass and your sun visors fold down over the top edge to hold it. No suction cups, no adhesives, nothing to install.

Will it interfere with my rearview mirror or dash cam?

There's a deep notch at the top center that fits around most mirror housings. If you run a dash cam or have sensors near the mirror, position the shade below or around them — the umbrella shape leaves some flexibility in placement.

Isn't opening an umbrella inside a car awkward?

It opens gradually — press the mechanism and guide it, more like opening a book than popping an umbrella. Hold it low near the dashboard, let the ribs spread, then rest it against the glass. After two or three uses it takes seconds.

How do I store it?

Collapse it like an umbrella, slide it into the included sleeve, and it's about 14″ long — glovebox, door pocket, or seat-back pocket territory.

What exactly comes in the box?

One QuickShade umbrella-style windshield sunshade and one storage sleeve. That's everything you need.
